Submissions

Each issue of the mag features brilliant content from an array of wonderful contributors. No story is the same, and that's what makes every issue different.

Below are the current calls for submission:

Submissions are now open for the Bump to Baby edition of Gingernut, which is due out in time for Christmas '22. The perfect gift for any expectant parent, this edition features content on surviving (and maybe even thriving in) the fourth trimester, how to navigate boundaries with visitors as new parents, (actually useful) tips and tricks, and so muuuuch more. We are still on the hunt for:

- four poetry slots
- six photography slots
- two creative writing/prose slots

All submissions must follow the theme of pregnancy, post-partum and birth. Please email all finished submissions for consideration to [email protected]. Deadline for these submissions is Sunday 20th of November.

Coming through letterboxes (and some shops! Eek!) in February, the fifth issue of the mag is going to be bigger and better than ever. Expect the usual gorgeousness (Mama Makers, decadent recipes and tear-jerking accounts of parenthood) and also so many new, never-seen-before features. There are openings for:

- six photography slots
- four poetry slots
- two prose/creative writing slots
